Abir Goswami was an Indian Film and Television actor. He was born on 21st April 1976. He was very shy in nature, and fond of nature. He worked in various popular television serials like Kusum, Pyaar Kaa Durd Hai Mitha Mitha. Abir Goswami was married to Koyal Nath Goswami at the age of twenty six. One day, Abir was busy doing his job when he suddenly suffered from heart attack and he passed away on 31st May 2013 in Malad, India. In his career as an actor, he performed in various serials like

Abir Goswami is a versatile film and television actor from India. He was born on April 21, 1976 at Kolkata, India and raised up in Nashik, Maharashtra.
Abir made his name in the television industry for quite too long. He acted as Sujith in the Hindi series, Hotel Kingston on STAR One in 2006. He gained fame for bagging a role in the Indian soap, Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan on STAR Plus. Abir also did series like Choti Maa and Badalte Rishton Ki Daastan. In 2011, he donned a role in Sujeet Singh’s Muawazaa…Madad Ya Abhishaap which was aired on DD channel. He replaces

Ammaji Ki Galli on SAB TV. Abir played as a business tycoon who came from abroad in the romance drama serial, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai. He was also the love interest of Vanshika (played by
Indu Verma) during college. Later, he did another Rajshri Productions’ serial, Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli on Zee TV, where he essayed the negative role of Sushant Choudhary, the brother-in-law of Dr. Viren Roy (played by Iqbal Khan).
Abir also made his way to the big screen; he acted as the photographer in the box-office film, Khakee in 2004 which stars
Amitabh Bachchan and
Akshay Kumar. Later, he played the role of Capt. Sudhir Mishra in another box-office hit film, Lakshya under the direction of
Farhan Akhtar. He was also seen in the historical film, The Legend of Bhaga Singh as Fanindra Nath Ghosh. Then, he did a Bengali film, Sakkhat and Rocky. He also did few Bangla films like Ratparir Rupkatha, Bidhatar Lekha and Banobhumi.
In 2012, Abir was reportedly undergone a surgery due to Lymphoma which he had in his hand, but it got operated in an early stage. On May 31, 2013, he died in Lucknow, India due to cardiac arrest. The actor was known to be a gym freak and has been working out on the day before he died. Some rumors have reported that he died due to Lymphoma and some kind of Rheumatic Heart Disease. However, his wife, Koyal Abir Goswami made it clear that the sudden death of the actor was due to cardiac arrest only. Abir Gowwami died at the age of 37.
