The talented and charming actor is single and claimed he wasn’t ready to mingle with the ladies yet. He feels a sense of liberty on being a bachelor. He said being single means, he only had himself to cater for and there were lesser responsibilities. He admires his mother so much that he has no words to express the way he feels about her. He said in one of his interview that, he understands that being a house wife is the most difficult job in the whole world and he sympathizes with ladies of today who weren’t ready to get married. He has two siblings named, Summit Sharma and Riddhi Sharma.

He was diagnosed with dengue fever in 2013 and had to take a break from Zee TV’s, Pavitra Rishta. He became frail and sickly and had to return to his family in Surat.
