Arvind Vaidya is an Indian Television and Theatre actor. He was born in Ahmadabad, Gujarat, India. He did his schooling from Ahmadabad only. He did Diploma in Drama from Gujarat University. His daughter’s name is who was married to writer-director . He has made films like, Apne, Gumnaam and . Arvind has his interest in acting since his childhood days. He uses to take part in dramas in his school days. He joined theatre when he was quite young. He has acted and directed near about 150 full length Marathi and Gujarati plays and also acted and directed in over 200 one-act plays.

He made his debut in the film “Maya Memsaab” in 1993. This movie was directed by starring , , and . He also acted in other movies like , Right Yaaa Wrong and Gumnaam- the Mystery. He also acted in few Gujarati movies like Kashi No Dikro, Hun-Hunsilal, etc. He has also directed two Gujarati films also.

Arvind has acted in over a 100 Hindi Television serials. He acted in the serial “Baa Bahu Aur Baby” as Labhshankar Thakkar who is the husband of Godavari Thakkar. He also acted in the serial “” as Pranlal Kaka who is Ambalal’s best friend. After that he also worked in the show “” as Dada Ji. He also appeared as a comic role in show “Sarabhai V/s Sarabhai”. He did the role of Madhusudan, Indravadan’s brother-in-law. He won many awards in his life for his work. He was awarded by “Gaurav Puraskar” given by the Gujarat state.
