Chaitanya Choudhury was born in Mumbai, 18th April 1977, and completed his Masters in Business Administration. Chaitanya is a complete sportsman and he loves sports apart from travelling as his hobbies. Chaitanya started his Career with Film Love at Times Square produced by . He first appeared as an actor in a music video “Khao Piyo Aish Karo Mitro” by A S Kang.

Eventually he got offers as a debut leading role in Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms popular show on Star Plus "Kahin To Hogaa" as his first show on Hindi TV serials and it serves as a really big hit show and that led to his getting cast as a leading role in further shows. After his stint in C.I.D and Aahat aired on Sony Entertainment Television and "" aired on Star plus by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms.

Chaitanya later went on to play as a negative role of Vayu Kapoor in Kkavyanjali - a romantic drama aired on Star Plus. He then went on to play the role of Sagar, a brother of a businessman and a boyfriend of the female protagonist Ganga () in Sangam in Star Plus produced by Fox Television Studios India and he also appeared in the Indian reality dance show "Zara Nachke Dikha". After that he played the role of Kabir in Sarvagunn Sampann and as Abhishek in Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya.

Currently Chaitanya portrays the role of Kanha (male protagonist) Icchha's and Veer's a caring son, in the popular Colors Tv show Uttaran.
