Fawad Afzal Khan

Fawad Khan is a Pakistani actor, who has also acted in Indian movies. His original name is Fawad Afsal Khan. He was born in Karachi in the year 1981.  Though he was born in Lahore, he was brought up in various Saudi countries, due to his father’s job. He was interested in acting, from his young age. He has a good interest in music and hence he learnt drums, guitar and bass. He entered the cinema in the year 2007 through the Pakistani movie Khuda Ke Liye, which made him to expose as a musician. In his debut movie, he won the Lux Style Actor Award. 

He started to act in television, after his first movie. He acted in various Pakistani serials in the lead roles, including the historic serials. He has also won the Best actor award for acting in the TV serials. After his first movie, Fawad Khan was supposed to appear in the Indian films; but due to some reasons the debut was postponed. He made his debut in Bollywood along with the legendary actor Anil Kapoor Anil Kapoor was born on 24th December 1956 in Mumb >> Read More... in the movie Khoobsurat in 2014. He paired Sonam Kapoor, the daughter of actor Anil Kapoor. This movie was a remake of an old Hindi movie Khoobsurat starred by Rekha Ganesan and Rakesh Roshan. 

He was honored with many awards for making his debut in the Indian movie. Some of the awards given to him are the Best Bollywood Debut by Masala Awards, Best Male Debut by Filmfare Awards and International Icon of the Year by Hum Awards. He was also nominated for the Star Debut of the Year – Male by International Indian Film Academy Awards. Times Of India has also listed him in the Most Desirable Men of 2014. Fawad Khan is also interested in acting in Indian films, if he was a given a good opportunity with a good story base.
