Gaurav Sareen was born on 15 September 1995, in Amritsar, Punjab India. His father name is Praveen Sareen, and mother name is Renu Sareen who are native of Amritsar, Punjab, India. He is closed to his sibling Aarti Randhawa who is also a professional model. He completed his schooling from D.A.V Public School, Amritsar Punjab, India and is currently pursuing his graduate degree through distance education from Amritsar as well. He is a trained Bhangra and Freestyle Dancer.

Although he had never seen any Television Serial as he was interested in playing with his friends in the playground. Also during his school days, his father wanted him to persuade career as IPS Officer. But god had thought something else for him. Due to his love to face the camera, he thought of giving himself a chance in this industry.

He came to Mumbai and started his career as a model. He endorsed many brands which include the big names like Set Wet, GM Switches, HE Deo, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Honda and Promo for Sony Rox. After his successful modeling career, he finally got his first role in 2017 with Sony Television Serial EkDeewanaTha. It is was an Indian Horror, Thriller, Suspense and Romantic and T.V show. He got to play the role of Aditya Bisht, brother of main lead Sharanya alongside Nimish Paul, DonalBisht, and Vikram Singh Chauhan. Finally, after 2500 auditions and this supporting role, he banged with the lead role of Radhe Lal Shukhla in Star Plus's daily soap Krishna Chali London.

The show is based on one of the Artworks of famous writer Harishankar Parsai. His role of Radhe Lal Shukla hails from Kanpur. He has no ambitions in life except getting married to a beautiful girl.
