Gautam Gupta

Gautam Gupta is a Television actor who works on the small screens. A newbie in town, but has made a mark for himself. He works as a television actor who also has a name for himself in the modeling industry, a trained classical dancer and has his act straight in martial arts. What else do you need in a hero? Gautam was born on April 13, 1988, in Mumbai, to Sushil Gupta, who owns a post-production company. In a way, Gautam was born into a family that has roots in the film industry. Later he went on to do his schooling from Velam, which is a boarding school in Dehradun. He then completed his B.Com.

Having learned to act in Barry John’s acting school, he says it was his childhood dream, as well as he was destined to choose, to act like his career. He made his debut in Bollywood with the movie “Go” in 2007. He played the character of Abhay Narula in the movie. Later he concentrated on television serial projects, which he found meaty. He is working in two Television serials, “Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi” airing on Colors TV, in a supporting role and “ Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan is a Hindi serial >> Read More... ” which airs on Star Plus. He says he is thankful to Ekta for giving him the right opportunity to kick start his career. Gautam got his first break in Balaji Telefilms, and he talks about how Ekta is when she chooses people for her characters. He calls Ekta a great friend, and an amazing mentor, who puts in a lot of hard work to her work. Gautam is thankful to her for giving him the opportunity for what he wanted to do all his life. He works hard for each role that he portrays, and he wants his audience to see him, appreciate his work, rather than categorize him as being born with a silver spoon. He believes in encasing on the opportunity he has been getting up till now. In the current television serial, “Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan” he plays the role of Madhavan a south Indian boy, who falls for Koyal, a Bengali girl.

The central concept of the show is about three protagonists, Koyal, Raj and Madhavan, coming from different cultural backgrounds, but having a common bond between them, is that of friendship. He talks a little about his co-stars and says they are super chilled and great co-actors, as they are senior to him, yet they are such good friends.
