Malhorta. He was born on April 2, 1982 in New Delhi, India. He is Mohit Malhotra’s elder brother. He studied at Kulachi Hansraj Model School it is a branch of DAV Public School located in Delhi. He was a bright and intelligent student who used to sit in the front desk and answer all the questions from his teachers.

Subsequently, he moved into college and studied at Delhi University. He played cricket while in college and later on, he stopped studying and took up professional cricket. He was one of the members of the Indian Television Squad which was owned by Mr. Anil Vanvari. They usually play cricket together with the senior television actors.

After 3 years of playing cricket professionally, his parents asked him to leave cricket and continue his studies. Then, he started to pursue Master of Business Administration (MBA). He got good grades so he entered Amity University. He joined dancing, dramatics, anchoring and presentations in Amity just like what he did when he is in his previous schools, where he used to joined mono-acting competitions.  After one year, he joined many reality shows and did some auditions until he got a call from Zee Cine Stars Ki Khoj in 2004. He took the chance when he got two months break in school and went to Mumbai. He was one of the top 3 contestants in group B for Boys. Since then, his journey as an actor began.
