Manu Malik has been in the industry for almost a decade now, and there are few things that many don’t know about him. He acted in various commercials, TV serials and movies too. 
The 38-year-old actor, who is still as dashing and handsome as he was when he first entered television industry, is currently playing the role of Omkar Nath Maheshwari in the popular show Yeh Rishta Kya kehlata hain that airs on Star plus at prime time. Manu Malik had to face many obstacles in career, and he says that his hard working nature and not taking shortcuts helped him a lot in building his career. 
He acted in movies like “The legends of Bhagat Singh”, “Good boy bad boy”, “Zameen”, “Dil Kabaddi”. He also played a cameo role in blockbuster movie Chennai express, portraying the character of main lead’s (Shahrukh Khan) best friend. By playing diverse roles, he has had the chance to evolve as a strong actor. 
In an interview with The Time of India, the smart actor Manu reveals that he is a fitness freak who goes to gym regularly and maintains a healthy diet. He also has a huge fan club.
Recently, he also shot for a commercial in Kochi.
