Om Katare is an Indian Television actor who hails from Datia, Madhya Pradesh. Currently, he resides at Mumbai, Maharashtra. He holds a diploma from Filmalaya Academy at Mumbai. He found a theatre group named Yatri Theatre Association of his own in the year 1979. He is also a director and writer in his theatre group.
His group has performed about 50 shows all over India. Om Katare also conducts workshops on theatre art to help interested people. He has acted in several plays and TV Shows. Some of his work includes Ek Tha Gadha, Aao Na, Purush, Prem Nagar Ki Dagar, Chakra, Jee Huzoor, Rani Ki Kahani, Chandu ki Chachi, Magic if, etc.Â
