Raashul Tandon

Coming from Lucknow, Raashul Tandon always had the support of his family when he chose to become an actor. He first started off with learning and training in Anupam Kher’s school ‘Actor Prepares’. After completing his training, Raashul starred in a Yash Raj production called ‘Seven’ where he played one of the lead roles. He played the role of a boy named Hriday Atri, who had the power to save the world.

He has appeared in many ads for Fiat Punto and Airtel. After his participation in a theater event organized by Times of India he even received the award for ‘Best Actor’ and from there on became a fairly popular actor. Raashul did his graduation from National College.

After graduating, he shifted to Mumbai in 2009 to start training as an actor at Anupam Kher’s school. Since his debut in ‘Seven’, Raashul landed roles in shows like ‘Humari Saas Leela’, ‘ Pavitra Rishta One of the popular Hindi serials, Pavitra Rishta >> Read More... ’ and ‘Balveer’. Later on, he managed to get in the movie Heropanti, where he played the role of an NRI photographer and had to gain 8 kilos. Even though the film got 3.5 stars from the critics, it wasn’t much appreciated by the audience.

He was also in the 2014 movie ‘Mad about Dance’ where he played the role of a character named GG. This movie received three stars from the critics and was well acclaimed for its dance routines but not so much for its acting. After that role, he also acted in the movieBarkhaa for which he had to lose 11 kilos. The movie received mixed reviews as some people thought it was too old-fashioned and others appreciated it for the old Hindi movie quality.

As of now Raashul has no more upcoming films planned.
