Samarpit is an Indian film actor, producer, and director. He was born as Arpit Kanwatia on October 3 to Kailash and Urmila Kanwatia. He changed his name to Samarpit when he entered the film industry. He became popular as Samarpit Kanwatia, but some also known him as Samarpit Agarwal. He studied at Little Flower School (LFS) and graduated at Bangalore’s Bishop Cotton School. Samarpit is married to Aanal Kanwatia and they have three children namely Aeishwarya, Shaurya, and Arna Kanwatia. In 1998, he left for Mumbai to pursue his dreams of becoming an actor.

He attended Asha Chandra Acting Academy and became lucky to be part of Manish Goswami’s television serial, Insaaf, which gave him a significant break. He also worked in several television serials including Yug, Agni Chakra, Kushi, Bandhan, Kutumb, Siddhi, Shakti, Kalash, Ashiana Akrant, Return of Mirza Ghalib, Babul Ki Duanyen Leti Jaa, Astitva Ek Prem Kahani, Jackie Jasoos, Zeenat, Ganga Jamuna, Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand and many more. He also donned few television ads for products like Castrol, Vim, Whytehall Whisky, Britannia, and Soothers Chocolates. Samarpit also acted in few documentaries like SBI Bank, Lt. Shayamil, and Rana Jaspal Singh. He played as Romy, a romantic guy, who got involved in drug peddling, in Robert Dukovey’s Italian film entitled The Extradition.

Later, he started organizing and promoting events, which involves many stars and singers. Subsequently, he founded the Shrie Siddhesh Productions and has worked with popular personalities of the filmdom like Sunil Agnihotri, Ekta Kapoor, Aroona Irani, Manish Goswami, Nimbus, Vipul Shah, Vijay Parimoo, Alok Nath Dixit, Affaque Hussain, Ajai Sinha, etc. Aside from being a businessman and as an actor, Samarpit, with his knowledge in Numerology and Vastu, is also a prominent celebrity astrologer, who has an extensive number of celebrity clients.
