Vijay Krishnaraj is an actor of Indian origin who has enlightened the audience with his skills of acting. He has been part of many television soap operas and films in Tamil industry. He works in the Kollywood film industry where he has starred alongside many popular stars of the entertainment industry. The skills and talent of Vijay Krishnaraj were never in question. Since the beginning of his career, he has made to be unique in his roles, irrespective of the nature of the character. His debut film got released in early 1988. The film named "Kalaiyum Neeya Malaiyum Neeye" was directed through the lenses of R Sundarrajan, who was known in the 90's for his acute direction and later on started acting.
The movie had a popular cast like Vijaykanth, Radhika, Lakshmi and Prabhu alongside Vijay Krishnaraj, who played a small supporting role. The Tamil film was his debut in the industry. Vasu who also wrote the screenplay of the movie.
The story revolved around an unwanted son who grows up and becomes angry and rowdy which results in him strangled in many incidents. Vijay Krishnaraj, again plays a minor side role alongside stars Rachana Banerjee and Parthiban. 'Sandhana Kaatru', the 1990 released Tamil revenge-action movie also had Vijay Krishnaraj play a side role. This time he portrayed a darker character where he along with his friends rapes the protagonist's wife, Raasathi, and then gets killed for his sins by the revenge-seeking husband who plays a military officer in the movie.
The lead cast comprises of Vijaykanth and Gouthami. During the mid-2000 period, the actor played a side-role in 'Kovai Brothers' opposite Sathyaraj, Nimitha and Sibiraj who are famous Tamil comedians. It was a comedy movie but was bashed by the critics. Most recently, the Chennai-born actor was seen acting in a Tamil television serial named '
Bommalattam' which aired on Sun TV each day excluding Sunday. The four-year long soap opera finally came to an end last year in October.
