Yasir Shoro

Born in Hyderabad, Yasir Shoro is a resident of Karachi, Pakistan. He is still new in the soap opera industry but has worked in many serials. He made his debut through the Pakistani-drama series “ Tum Jo Miley Tum Jo Miley is a romantic-comedy drama directed b >> Read More... ”, a comedy series aired during Ramadan in 2009 from 22nd August to 20th September.

Yasir Shoro played the role of “Saim” and the show was a hit. One of his other early serials’ is “ Zard Mausam Zard Mausam is a Pakistani drama serial that aired >> Read More... ”- based on an Urdu novel with a female protagonist. Shoro played the character of “Babar” in this series. Though a small character, through “Zard Mausam” Shoro received a lot of attention from the audience. The Pakistani-drama was aired in India as well under the title- “Suno Ik Kahani Badi Purani” on the channel Zindagi.

He has also worked in “Tanhai”, a Pakistani-comedy-drama aired in May 2013, in which Shoro played the role of “Zubair”, a familiar character to the main leads of the serial. Though the show didn’t last long and ended in July 2013, Shoro’s fan base increased. He then became a part of the famous “Aseerzaadi”, first aired on 17 th August 2013, and later aired in India in 2015 under the title “ Pyaar Ka Haq "Pyaar Ka Haq" was aired on Zindagi TV channel and >> Read More... ”. In this, he played the role of “Bilal”, the controversial character of the cousin and love interest of one of the main characters’, “Maira”. It was with this series that he gained popularity amongst the Indian masses. The series “Ishq Hamari Galiyon Main” (2014) was also a hit for him.

Apart from this, he has also worked in “ZigZag”, and hosted a reality show. Despite not being a part of the lead roles in most of his works, Yasir Shoro has managed to build a strong fan base within the audience. Looking more into his personal life, Yasir Shoro has been married to Zainab Abro since 2012, and so far, is enjoying a happy married life.
