Dimple Jhangiani is a well-known Indian model-turned television actress. She was born on February 24, 1988, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She studied Advertising and worked for O&M. But later, she got bored with her daily routine of 9-5 working hours, so she look for an alternative and entered the modeling industry. She has done more than 22 ads including the television commercial for D’damas. 

She was debuted in Tellywood through the television series, Kuchh Is Tara from the Balaji Telefilms which was aired on Sony TV in 2007. Dimple bagged the role of Kanya Godbole-Nanda, the wife of Ranbir Nanda (played by Akashdeep Saigal) who came from a middle-class household. The actress played as one of the main lead in Direktor Kut’s Productions’ Amrit Mathan. Her role as Nimrit gained popularity together with her co-star, Adaa Khan which became one of her closest friend in real life. But later, she quit the show and Ankita Sharma replaces her. After that, she has done an episodic in the anthology series, Teri Meri Love Stories on Star Plus. She was also offered to play the main lead on Zee TV’s Qubool Hai but she decided to just return to Amrit Manthan since the producer offered her to do a new role as Shivangi in the series. But she later quits the show again.

In 2009, she played the role of Avantika opposite with Tappu (played by Yash Pandit) in the romantic comedy series, Hum Dono Hain Alag Alag on Star One. Later, she also acted as Sanjana Rampal in a Balaji Telefilms’ serial entitled, Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil. Dimple acted as Rajkumari Sandhya in the television series, Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat on Star Plus channel. In 2013, Dimple donned the role of Minty Rajbir Faujdar in the comedy drama series, Mrs. Pammi Pyarelal on Colors. From the same year, she acted as Barkat Osman Abdullah/Bobby Mir Khan in the drama series, Beintehaa which was aired on Colors TV. She also joined the reality show, Welcome – Baazi Mehmaan Nawazi Ki, hosted by the popular, Ram Kapoor on Life OK. Dimple also did an episodic in Yeh Hai Aashiqui and played the role of Nidhi opposite with Armaan (played by Mohit Malhorta). The two has done a story of revenge that ended with love. Recently, she did another episodic in Savdhaan India on Life OK, where she played the strong character of Urvashi, a psycho lover.
