Dolly Sohi is an Indian TV actress who made herself known with Zee TV serial Bhabhi in 2002 in which she played the tile role of a typical Indian woman whose world is restricted and contained to her husband, children and family. Her role was a very popular role and she continued to do it till 2005 when she got married to Avneet Dhanowa, an NRI settled in Canada . She continued for some time after her marriage in the serial but ultimately left to Canada with a view to settle down after her marriage. In the meantime, she had also acted in another serial 'Sanskriti' in which she played the role of a college girl who is bubbly and dynamic and completely opposite to her role in Bhabhi. In this serial was also she earned praises for her performance. She also acted in another of Colors serial Kalash as Rano and there also she established new benchmark for her acting.

After her marriage, she was in Canada for two three years doing nothing when she realised that she can not live without the lime light and the camera and she came back to India with the consent of her husband and again established her acting potential in serials like in which she acted Noor Kabir Chaudhary and the wife of Major Kabir, played by . She earned another feather in her cap when she performed as Mahalasa's mother in Devon Ke Dev Mahadev and her performance was applauded by one and all.

Her serial Devon Ke Dev Mahadev is still continued on Life OK.
