Ekta Kaul; an Indian television actress and model was born on 16 May 1990 in Jammu and Kashmir India. She has done MBA and started her television career from cross-continental love story Rab Se Sohna Isshq of Zee TV produced by in which she acted the role of Sahiba. Before starting her career in Indian television industry, she was working in Marketing and Sales Department in FMCG giant.

When asked in an interview, she said that she never dreamt to be in tv industry. It was her first audition in which she was selected for the role of Sahiba. Interestingly, she spent all her childhood as a tomboy and in a tomboy style. But she has had acted as purely Punjabi girl in this show. Its her first debut in Rab Se Sohna Isshq due to her stunning beauty which took her to the heights of appreciation and popularity. She married with aka ; Diljeet of Rab Se Sohna Isshq.

Presently, Ekta Kaul is acting as Sohani in one of the Sony’s tv famous show Bade Acche lagte hain. In Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa – season 6, she was also one of the contestants. She has done selected work but the fabulous work. She is known as one of the disciplined artist who has had the privilege to shoot at different locations like villages of Punjab, city of Mumbai and metropolitan city London. She has also won Indian telly Award in 2013 for the category “Fresh New Face (female)” for the role of Sahiba in show Rab Se Sohna Isshq in 2013.
