Jayashree Venketaraman is an Indian drama actress that left the field just after two years of start and went back Delhi. But that was not the final stage of her career, she was reaching out by a producer S Farhan, who was at that time looking for fresh and new expressions for his output. After coming back she worked in serials like Beend Banoonga ghodi chadhunga and Na bole tum na maine kuch kaha season 2. Beend banoongaa was telecasted on Imagine TV, but the show was canceled on 24th February due to bad rating.

The actress shifted from acting and become a host. She is hosting a new show named Shivi on UTV. She is more comfortable in hosting than in acting and planning to stick to hosting only. Jayashree found a extra someone during her acting career called Preteek Shah that was the second unit director of her inaugural appearance. They began out as acquaintances and were in a relationship later. She says that he was very handsome and arrogant, but that made her attracted towards him.
