Leena Prabhu is an Indian Television actress. She lived with her husband in Pandurangwadi, Goregaon (East), Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She did her schooling from ST. Joseph’s English High School, Mlad. She did her graduation from Gokhale College Calcutta, West Bangle in the year 1989. She got married to Sudhir Prabhu on August 1, 1992. Before her marriage she was also in a relationship with Sudhir Prabhu. Sudhir is the only child of his parents and works in a departmental store chain. The couple has a 13-year-old son, who is battling with learning disability. In 2008 Leena was thrown out of her house with her husband and kid by her in-laws.

As an actress, Leena worked in many Hindi serials. She played a character in Main Teri Parchhain Hoon which was produced by Rajshri Productions. It was broadcasted on NDTV Imagine and was premiered on January 21, 2008. In this serial, Leena played the character of Aanchal's Mami with co- actor , , and . Her husband also played a role in this serial.

She also worked in Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara, a Hindi Television serial aired on Star Plus. This serial was premiered on June 18, 2012 and running successfully till date. Leena played a supporting role as Ambika Diwakar Gupta and her co-actors are , , and Kunwar Aziz Ustahi.
