Priya Badlani is an Indian model turned television and film actress. She was born on January 27, 1986 in Mumbai, India. She took up Graphics Designing and initially, she chooses Fashion Photographer as her profession before she enter the glamour world industry. Indian actor, producer and director suggested to Priya to try up acting and she decided to give it a try. She first appeared in Gowariker’s Coca-Cola commercial ad together with popular actor, . Subsequently, she modeled for brands like Hansel, Fair and Lovely, Vatika and a lot more.

In 2004, she made a cameo appearance as Priya in the Bollywood film, Naach under the direction of which stars . Later, she has done another cameo as Nandita in the Hindi romance film, Silsiilay by Khalid Mohammed; at the same time, she is also modeling for different brands. She took the 24th position as the Most Attractive Women in India from The Fashion Magazine. In 2006, the actress gained fame and popularity after essaying the female lead role as Aanya Shroff, the daughter of the millionaire businessman Kishan Shroff (played by ) in the Hindi serial, on Zee TV. At the time that she was doing the Jabb Love Hua, Priya met an accident on a shopping mall. She accidentally slammed herself in a glass wall and her nose was badly hurt. She was hospitalized and got stitches on her nose. So the production changed the track of the serial and showed the audiences that her character as Aanya had a minor accident. Priya received praises for her dedication to her work since she wanted to continue the shoots even after the day of her accident.

After this, she took a hiatus and went missing to the limelight and later in an interview, she revealed that she enrolled in a Kathak class to learn classical dance. She also joined acting workshop with and later, she attended the Barry John’s theatre workshop. Priya stated that as an actress, she needs more time to enhance her acting skills. She is also now in a look-out for something different and exciting role to come her way, such as the Hollywood film, Dr. DoLittle from where she will be surrounded with animals. However, Priya knows that it is impossible to do shows like that in India, so she is still waiting for her dream role to become real.
