Rucha Hasabnis is an Indian television serial actress who appears mainly in the Hindi television serials. Born on February 8, 1988 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India hails from an educated business family. She completed her studies from Mumbai and while studying got noticed by one of the prominent and famous Marathi production house who offered Rucha a meaty and one of the pivotal role named Devika in the popular Marathi serial Char Chaughai. This serial made Rucha quite popular and she got noticed and as a result, Rucha Hasabnis was offered the parallel lead in the star plus’s mega serial project Saath Nibhana Saathiya in which Rucha was offered the role of Rashi, a bubbly gujarati girl from Rajkot who gets married into one of Rajkot’s affluent business family The modis to their younger son Jigar Modi. This character of Rashi Jigar Modi was the parallel lead of the serial and by essaying this role made Rucha very popular television actress and a household name. Rucha Hasabnis also appeared briefly in Sony TV’s popular comedy show Comedy Circus ke Tansen as a contestant. After playing Rashi for 4 years Rucha recently got engaged to his long term beau and are set to get married soon. Rucha has decided to quit acting for a while and has also left the serial Saathiya. Owing to the popularity of Rucha’s character Rashi, the production house and star plus decided not to replace her and made Rucha’s character Rashi in the serial die. For Now, Rucha wants to concentrate on her marriage and wants to spend more and more time with her family members.
