She won the Miss Calcutta pageant which launched her career. She acted in Bengali movies like Raju Uncle Story soon >> Read More... , Swapnoo, Nayak - The Real Hero, and Sangharsha, before debuting on the small screen as Antara Wadhwa on Kumkum. 

She won the lead roles of Kakul Choudhary in Ghar Ek Sapna, aired on Sahara One; Amrita on Zee TV’s Naaginn – Waadon Ki Agnipariksha; and Pratibha on Life OK’s Meri Maa Meri Maa is the story of a street kid, Jhilmil, wh >> Read More... . She also played prosecutor Pranali Gujral on Sony TV’s courtroom drama, Adaalat, and had roles in Star TV’s Sabki Laadli Beboo and Sony TV’s Crime Patrol. She proved her versatility by playing a comedy role in Comedy Circus 2, and also delighted the audience and judges alike while contesting the reality dance shows, Ek Se Badhkar Ek on Zee TV and Nach Baliye Season 6 on Star Plus. She featured as a naagin in Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuyein. 

She was one of the contestants on Big Boss Season 6, the celebrity reality show on Colours. She had a special appearance in the film Himmatwala, and has acted in the Bengali movie, Chaap – The Pressure. This talented actress currently plays Satyavati in Star Plus’s Mythological drama, Mahabharat.
