Smita Shewale is a Marathi movie and Television Actress. She is primarily known for her role in Zee Marathi’s drama Savitri which is a show based on a simple girl who has premonition that turn into reality.
She plays the lead role in currently running show Mandala Don Ghadicha Daav in which she plays the role of a simple family oriented girl who is socially committed and works for the well being of poor and needy. Her other notable daily soaps include

Shewale was born on 18 May 1988. She was born and raised in Pune. She currently resides in Mumbai with her family. She learned Indian classical dance Bharatanatyam for 12 years. She believes that dancing is her passion and acting is her profession. She won several dance competition in her school. She did her schooling from Huzurpapga School, Pune which is also the school of notable people like Shanta Shelke and Mrunal Kulkarni.
She made her Marathi movie debut with romantic comedy Yanda Kartavya Aahe. She went to watch a play at Sudarshan Manch, Pune where she met Actress Shubhangi Damle. Damle introduced her to director
who signed her for the movie in which she played the role of a girl, Swati who marries Rahul. Both are thrown into an arranged marriage and know very little about each other. The film shows different phases in development of their relationship and how they try to get to know each other. The movie received positive response and got Shewale noticed in the industry. Her other notable movies are Chal Lavkar, Ladi Godi, Manya Sajjana and many more. Currently she is working on Athang which is an upcoming Marathi movie.
