Known for the role of Kalsanwali, on Zee TV famous daily soap Bhagonwali Baatein Apani Taqdeer (December 6, 2010 – February 17, 2012), which aired on Zee TV. Suruchi Verma is among the most talented actors in the Indian Entertainment Television. She appeared in many TV series, one of the most popular serial in which she played a character was Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai (8 October 2007 – 13 November 2010), aired on Star Plus.

In the TV serial Bhagonwali-Baante Apni Taqdeer, her character, Kalsanwali was the most youthful daughter-in-law of the Pandey family, Sangita is known by the name of the town she originated from (Kalsan), and is called Kalsanwali. She belonged to a family of strong political connections and often threatened others using her parental influence. She was raised by people who use violence as a solution for everything, and as she grew up with them, she also developed an aggressive nature. Her husband Vishnu is also aggressive and believes in keeping her under control. However, Kalsanwali fights back and does not let her husband dominate over her. She often vents out her fury over her miserable married life on Runjhun and assaults her.
