Bhavna Vyas Bhavna Vyas is a writer who has written scripts and dialogues for the Hindi TV industry. She was born on 23rd July 1983 in Bhopal, MP. Bhavna completed all her education in Bhopal itself. After completing her graduation, Bhavna started working in an event management company in Bhopal, but she soon realized that her career lies elsewhere as she would often find herself bored on the job.

She then decided to try her hand in the entertainment industry, and then she moved to Mumbai to get a better chance at it. In the starting of her journey, Bhavna did various writing jobs in Mumbai, and then in 2011, she joined Yeh Rishta Kya Kehelta Hai’s creative team. That was the turning point in her career, as she says in an interview that she started to consider herself a failure, but her hardwork and dedication finally landed her the job she always wanted.

Bhavna went on to write over 2500 episodes of the hit TV serial and for her immense work, she also received a Starguild Award in 2015. Having written for a show that pumps out episode after episode non-stop, Bhavna claims that she never has the time or the luxury to find her inspirations in the skies and mountains, basically all the clichés. Bhavna’s creative process is just simply to fire up her laptop and start writing.

Bhavna is very self-aware about the life of an Indian soap operas, as they all survive on TRP and nothing else, and for that Bhavna has a perfectly harmonious mind to churn out story after story every week. Bhavna also takes constructive criticism and audience feedback w=very well, in an interview she says that even though they don’t change their ideas wholly based on what audiences might demand, but they do however, make minute changes week after week on the basis of what the audience liked and how they responded to a certain situation or a character.

Apart from Ye Rishta, Bhavna has also worked on Hamari Sister Didi Hamari Sister Didi is a drama television series th >> Read More... , where she has written well over 130 episodes. She is currently working on the famous web-series Guddu weds Guddan which she created as well. The decision to make this jump from TV to web-series was made because she says that a lot of time on TV, there’s not a lot of creative freedom, however she gets as much freedom to write a web-series as she can.
