Ashok BA is a Kannada actor famously known for his work in ‘Sandalwood’. He was born on 12th September, 1951 in Karnataka, India. He completed his education and immediately applied for various Film courses in Pune and Madras. His first Kannada film as a lead actor was ‘Hennu Samsarada Kannu’(1975), in which Sridevi played the female lead, whereas his debut movie, as a supporting role was ‘Sanaadi Appanna’. Ashok has mainly acted in romantic movies alongside female superstars.
His filmography is enormous & he continues to maintain his legacy. In 1986, Ashok became the founding president of the ‘Karnataka Film Artists, Workers & Technicians Union’. He has also been an activist for various Government movements and protests. The 71-year-old actor continues to be a superstar in the Kannada film industry and has been among the top actors for years. He has gained immense love from his fans and audience through his work in the movies.
