Imran’s story is that of heart melting, emotional and romantic drama. Overcoming the obstacle of parental and societal opposition he eloped as a teenager. Before leaving, he promised his ladylove that he would return only after making something of himself. Well, he didn’t let her down. Born on 28th December 1979 to late Haji Ayub, Imran Sardhariya is a well-known choreographer and a film director of the Telugu and Kannada cinema. His wife Saniya is a costume designer. His shot to fame has been with the famous song ‘Stylo Stylo’. To add to his list of accomplishments, he has about 250 songs accredited to him and also the choreography of two Telugu movies – Josh and Chalaaki.

Trained under national film award-winning choreographer Mr. Jai Borade for five years, Imran Sardhariya has also had the honour to be the assistant of Mr. Ganesh Hegde Ganesh Hegde is a popular singer, choreographer an >> Read More... for two years.

He has won several awards in choreography including ‘Udaya’ film awards for best choreography in the years 2009 to 2013. He also won awards at SIIMA in 2013 and 2014. He has also received awards for best choreographer from Zee TV and other channels.

Imran is quickly climbing the ladder of success and is efficiently exploring the pool of opportunities made available to him. He also opened his school of dance in Bangalore called dinky’s dance and music academy. His passion for choreography has not taken a backseat even after he ventured into filmmaking. Imran describes choreography as his first love but does not deny his passion for filmmaking. Having being asked about how choreography happened to him, he told the Outlook magazine (September 2015) that it was not planned and happened by chance.
