Gaurish Akki is an Indian Film Director and Actor, popular amongst the audience for his work in movies like Sipayee (2016), Cinema in My Darling (2016), 3000 (2018), etc. Born and brought up in Koppal district of Maharashtra, he is known to be working in the Kannada film industry for quite a long time now. After graduating from Karnataka University, Dharwad with a Master of Arts degree in English Literature, he started out his career as a journalist with the renowned news franchise ETV. Working as a Bulletin producer, voice-over artist, and a copy editor for nearly 15 years, Gaurish eventually got a break in the Kannada industry with the movie Sipayee (2016), which also marked his debut. Since then, he has featured in at least five other regional films.
