MG Srinivas was born in Bangalore. He is a director, screenwriter and actor who is popular in Kannada movies. He completed his degree Bachelor of Science from Seshadipuram College. He started his career as a dance choreographer and successfully leading stage performance. He joined Red FM as a radio jockey in the year 2007. He hosted the famous show blade Raja in the morning. The show blade Raja was the super hit program that he continued for three years. He quit his Radio Jockey profession by entering into directions of short films.
