Dharmendra Kakarala

Dharmendra Kakarala is an editor of films of the Indian Cinema. He mainly works for ‘Telugu’ language movies. He was born in the year 1981 in the town of ‘Eluru’ in the state of ‘Andhra Pradesh’. He belongs to a renowned family of ‘Eluru’ as his great grandfather was, namely ‘K Balakrishna Rao’ was a very popular lawyer, his grandmother was an active worker of an NGO, and his grandfather was a famed physician of his town. After school, he began to pursue B.A. in college but did not complete the degree because of his interest in the film industry. After making several attempts for his degree, he decided to learn ‘Film Making’ from an institute in ‘Kolkata’, ‘Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute’.

In the year 2004, he graduated from this institute and worked as an assistant editor in many movies.
