M S Narasimhamurthy is a writer as well as an actor. He works predominantly in Kannada industry. He is a native of the city of Malur, situated in the Kolar district in Karnataka. He completed his schooling from Municipal High School in Mandya, in Karnataka.

He attended college at the University of Mysore. Narsimhamurthy is famous for his films like Yamalokadalli Veerappan in 1998, which was an action and crime drama, interspersed with comedy, Narasimhamurthy’s forte. It talked about Bajnias drummers and a dacoit, Veerappan.

It halted midway due to some controversies and later resumed in 2015.

It received appreciation at the box office and the audience loved it. In the year 1992, he wrote the dialogues of Athimadhura Anuraga, the movie and he was also the author of the novel by the same name. In the year 1995, he was the dialogue writer for the film Giddu Daada.

He also worked in the 2016 release CBI Sathya, an action and drama movie, involving suspense which kept the audience glued to the screen. Another Kannada film, Fortuner, written by Narisamhamurthy, talks about how nobody can control their future and fortune, but in a light-hearted manner M S Narasimhamurthy also freelances as a writer and a journalist.

He is the creator of the scripts of many plays performed on the theatre stage. One of them is Beg Borrow Aliya. It is a humorous play, a family drama, with the plot revolving around the lead characters Vishwa and his better half who are always concerned about their daughter's wedding.

The storyline brings in many new characters, each with their concerns, missions and takes on life. The play is a laughter rite and very enjoyable. He is part of a comedy show that airs on television on Udaya Comedy channel. Sandesha is a foundation for culture as well as education.

M S Narasimha received the Sandesha Award in the year 2011, where he received cash reward apart from a citation and other gifs. The award felicitated writers, poets, and dancers who had achieved great heights in their respective fields through their phenomenal work.
