But there is common in the two deaths that it led to an end of a budding and promising actress forever. Before her death, Nivedita had always wanted to enjoy the extremeness of life, both joy and sorrows. And practically too, she enjoyed both joy and sorrow. Nivedita Jain was a model cum actress. She was born to an Assamese mother and a Jain father. She was crowned Miss Bangalore in 1994 which was an asset for her to make an entry into Sandalwood. She made her debut in 1996 in Sandalwood with her first film ‘’ Shivaranjini’’, which was an average hit. In the same year, she had an another release ‘’ Shiva Sainya’’ which was the biggest hit in the industry.

In 1997, three movies of her got released, and she became a busy actress. She also acted in a Tamil language film ‘Thaayin Manikodi’ directed by Arjun in 1998 which had Tabu as another heroine. Earlier, she was given the title of ‘Love Goddess’ after she acted in a Kannada film "Prema Raaga Haadu Gelathi" which released in 1997. Although her untimely death had surprised even the industry people, her family had revealed that she was doing a cat-walking to appear in a fashion show, and she had fallen down by losing her balance. Before her death, her father wanted her to join even politics, and she joined the Congress party, but could not achieve the success. She passed away after having a fall from her own building and led a life of coma for nearly 24 days. Her death may be a mystery no doubt, but her exit from celluloid had put a halt to an aspiring actress who wanted to evolve with every film that she acted. She passed away on June 11, 1998 when she was just 19 years old.
