This film is based on the true life story of a man named Narayana Mandhagadde who is from Shivamogga district of Karnataka. He served in the prisons of Pakistan for 21 years and came back home in 2003 when the former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee got involved into the matter. She is also seen in the film named as “Mana Kurralle” which is full of action and drama.

It is directed by Veera Shankar and produced by BVS Srinivasu and H S Haroon under the banner name “Veera Sankaer Silver Screens” and was released on 5 December 2014.
