An Indian film Actress, Shanthala, has worked predominantly in the Kannada film industry. She has a few popular films credited to her. Her debut film, Nanna Olaina Banna, features her in the role of a dancer, studying in an art school. From portraying an artist on screen, she goes on to act as a doctor in the lead role in the film, Paper Dhoni. The film hit the theatres in 2012 and focused on social issues.
