Abeni Aadhi is one of the most talented child artists working in the Mollywood film industry. Abeni made her acting debut in 2016 with the film Kochappa Paulo Ayyapa Cohelo. Abeni absolutely set the screen on fire as she went on to win the Kerala State Film Award for her performance. She became one of the only few actresses to win the award on their debut.
Her next movie is Panth, which is also directed by her father Aadhi. Panth is a movie set in the rural areas and a backwards thinking mentality of a village. It is a story about a Muslim girl named Amina, who falls in love with football and wants to play football with her friends.
The movie is not essentially about football, but the love of football that Amina has. It is also about the relationship between Amina and her grandmother. In an interview, Abeni claims how the fact that she already loves watching football helped her, she admitted that she isn’t good at the game and hence her father made her practice football and she even played a few matches in training sessions. Her favorite footballers are Neymar and Messi.
