Tania Stanly

Tania Stanly is an Indian actress and model, working predominantly in Malayalam movies. She entered into the film industry from the 2014 movie “ Rajadhiraja Click to look into! >> Read More... ,” directed by Ajay Vasudev. Tania is a growing actress who has appeared in many ramps and dance competition.

Born on April 5th, 1992, Tania spent her childhood in UAE with her parents. She completed her education from Our Own English High School in Sharjah. She graduated from BITS, Pilani (Birla Institute of Technology and Science).

After her studies, for a while, Tania worked as a Supply Chain Specialist in one her family business. As Tania had the zeal for modeling and dancing, she decided to try her fortune. Tania was awarded to be the best dancer in her various college competitions. For, her internship she accompanied the Jazz Rockers Dance Company in Dubai.

After, this Tania went down the modeling lane and competed in many beauty pageants. In 2012, she got entitled to ‘Miss Beautiful Eyes’ for Cuticura Miss Kerala. She was also a participant in Manappuram Miss South India in 2014 and bagged the title of ‘Miss Talent.’

Tania has worked in many commercials and fashion industry in Dubai and South India. She is also a Radio Jockey for Red FM, Dubai. After completing her internships at Larsen & Toubro and ThyssenKrupp Elevadores, she was planning on working and doing her higher studies. But she made her debark into the film industry which turned out to be a turning point in her career.

Her first movie was ‘Rajadhiraja,’ in which she was unsure of working. Tania was amazed and bewildered to share the set with the Megastar Mammootty. Her first ever shot in the movie was touching the feet of Mammootty.

In Rajadhiraja, she portrayed the character as the daughter of Siddique and Lena. As Tania was familiar with the cameras, she wasn’t anxious to face the camera. But the attendance of famous superstars like Mammootty and Siddique did make her shimmy.

During the shooting of this movie she was uneasy and fearful and used to take too many retakes, for which Mammootty supported her and mitigated her nervousness. After completing the movie, Tania was presumed to go back to UAE. But she is hopeful to continue working in films and also to complete her studies.
