Alka Ajith

Alka Ajith is a Malayalam Indian playback singer. She won the second season of the Airtel Super Singer Junior competition at the age of 14. The show is a Tamil musical competition cum reality show. Ajith started her career in the year 2000 when she was just two and a half years old. Her first public performance was in the year 2000. There she sang the song Soldier from the movie Soldier. In the year 2001, she won a gold medal and the International UNESCO Club of Repalle Award. Again in the year 2002, she won Rotary International Achievement Awards and also a gold medal. At the age of four, she sang her first album name I Love My India.

Alka’s name was engraved into the Limca Book of World Records. In the same year, she won the Bharatheeya Gourav Puraskar. She won the Sauparnika Theeram Mini Screen Award and the Thalassery Drishya Kala's A. T. Ummer Award in the year 2003. Alka sang more than 5000 songs before she turned eight. She has sung in more than 500 concerts and had the ability to sing in more than ten languages. In the year 2010, she entered the second season of the music reality show Airtel Super Singer Junior, a singing reality show.

She reached the finale of the show and was announced as the winner of the show. She also appeared as a guest star in Airtel Super Singer Junior Season 3 and Season 4. She debuts into the film industry in the year 2011. She sang Chirakengu, a Tamil song directed by Srinivas.
