Jiji Joseph

Jiji Joseph is an Indian film editor and mixing artist, popular amongst the regional audience for his work in movies like Madhyathiruvithamkoor (2019), Rosa Lima (2018), Athisayangalude Venal (2017), Ozhivudivasathe Kali (2015), etc. Mostly known for his major involvement in Malayali TV shows, documentaries, short films, and Mollywood movies, Jiji has been working in the film industry for more than twelve years now. Born on 5th March 1981 in Chotty, Kanijrappally, Kottayam, Kerela, to Mariyamma Joseph and Joseph Varghese, he was the youngest of four children.

After completing his schooling, he obtained diplomas in computer hardware and multimedia. In no time, he gained an advanced diploma in audio engineering and digital editing from Keltron Advanced Training Centre, Sasthamangalam, Trivandrum. In 2010, Jiji made his first notable contribution as an editor with the film Will you be there, directed by Sandeep Kurissery.

He won the Kerala State Film Award consecutively in 2014 and 2015 for Oraalppokkam and Ozhivudivasathe Kali respectively. Jiji has also been a part of the film festivals of Kerela and Mumbai. Currently married to Sonia Joseph, he has a son named Elon J Joseph and lives in Taunton, Somerset, United Kingdom. Since 2015, we haven’t really seen much from Jiji on the big screen.
