Parasparam is a serial which depicts the true love and support between couples. It shows how a husband is the wife’s strength and how the wife becomes a husbands' strength. The serial showcases different characters in Suraj’s(Central Character) family; a highly educated girl Deepthi entering into his life with the dreams of becoming a Police Officer. Lekshmi Pramod’s portrayal of Smruthy, wife of Subash, the youngest brother of Suraj, was welcomed by the Malayalam viewers. Smruthy is a soft spoken, innocent and very loving girl in the serial, who is hated by her mother-in-law and sister-in-law. Lekshmi Pramod has given life to Smruthy very beautifully.
She has also done a short film Oru Simple Sambavam which is doing very well on the internet. The short film was directed by Sreenath. V. Nath and focused on a simple incident which becomes a nightmare. The film starts with a girl coming back from work finds a weeping boy who is reluctant to go home as he has a weak report card and his afraid of his mother. The girl pacifies the boy and takes him home. But the reality is about the sex rackets in Kerala and their tactics in trapping innocent girls into the trade. Lekshmi Pramod portrays the girl who helps the boy and ends up unknowingly into their trap. She has done the character beautifully and proves that she is a promising actress for Malayalam industry.

An upcoming Malayalam actress, Lekshmi has acted in a couple of television series and two films so far. She lives in Kollam district of Kerela with her parents. Her father is a Mridangam artist, and her grandfather was a famous drama artist. Her grandfather is her sole motivation, and he helps her find shooting locations. She also has a younger brother. She started her acting career with a Malayalam television show called Mukesh Kathkal in 2011.

She later appeared in Akashadoothu, a television series which was the continuation of a film of the same name. Her role in Parasparam was a big turning point in her life. She acted in two short films called 69 and Kallu and two feature films called Pianist and Snehamulloral Koodeyullappol. She is a student at Madurai Kamaraj University and is studying BA in English, distance education. She loves dancing and has trained in classical dance as well as western dance.

Lekshmi did her schooling at the institution, where her mother worked as a Hindi teacher. Lekshmi was good at her studies. She fell in love with her school senior, Azhar Mohammed and now they are happily married and have a kid. Lekshmi is well-known as a villain in the Mollywood serials, except for a soft role in “Parasparam.” Although she played the villain, she managed to tie up the audience with her performance. Lekshmi Pramod had also been a part of Pookalam Varavayi and Bhagya Jathakam. All her serials were successful and her negative roles had always been highlighted and it increased her popularity.

Besides playing in the serials, she is active on social media and creates social awareness related to the ongoing issues. During the COVID pandemic period, she made an awareness video in association with the Kerala Government. The short video impressed everyone and Lekshmi was much satisfied to have been the part of the awareness campaign.
