Sreelatha Menon is a popular Malayalam Cinema cum Serial actress. She is popular for her movies Cheriya Lokavum Valiya Manushyarum, Kouthuka Varthakal and Perumthachan. Sreelatha Menon has acted in more than 20 films and 30 serials. She was elected as Miss Kerala in the year 1985. She is married and has three children. Arjun is the eldest of the three sons. Sreelatha Menon’s husband Madhu passed away before few years due to cancer. She had been suffering from a rare skin disease and is bedridden. Her elder son takes care of his younger brothers and they all strive hard for food. She was hospitalized in Trivandrum Medical College Hospital. Before she was hospitalized, she was living with her children in a rented house near Vatiyoorkaavu. She was paralyzed under the knee and could do nothing. After hearing the news about her that was telecasted by a popular TV, many people started to inquire about her and started to help her. Before few years, she received an amount of Rupees One Lakh for her treatment, from the chief minister’s fund. Kerala minister Ganesh Kumar’s officials told that, the government will render some help to her. Ganesh Kumar was an actor, who is turned as a politician. Now Sreelatha is back to normal life, with the help of her well wishers.
