Surya is married to Renil and the couple is blessed with a baby girl. Surya Sasikumar’s family suffered a severe loss in their business. They met a fake godman to suggest some ways to overcome the losses. With his wrong direction, the actress and her family stepped into the fake currency business. The Kerala Police, who were investigating the fake currency notes gang, caught the actress’ family, red-handed. The actress didn’t deny anything and agreed that they have been doing the business for six months. The police seized the entire printing terminals from Surya’s house.

The police grabbed Rs. 2.25 lakh worth of counterfeit currency from her house. Surya had spent Rs 4.36 lakh. The total worth of the machines and the materials seized from Surya’s house cost Rs. 7 crore, informed the police. Surya’s mom is said to be the kingpin in counterfeiting. Surya’s family is arrested after the information given by a couple of counterfeit currency dealers, who were arrested, two days back from the arrest of Surya and family.
