After losing his parents he lived with Nagraj Manjule’s family in Pune for 9-10 years. He made his first acting career appearance in Nagraj Manjule's short film Pistulya in 2009. This role was offered to him when Nagraj Manjule visited his school in Karmala. For his outstanding performance he was awarded the National Film Award in the ‘Best Child Actor’ category. Then, he featured in several Marathi movies. In 2013, he got his first lead role in Fandry, co-starring Somnath Awgadhe.
