Milind Rokade

Milind Rokade was born on 5 March 1985. His father's name is Vilas Shankar Rokade. He is proficient in Hindi, English, Marathi, and Japanese language. He studied the Autodesk Smoke course at the Zee Institute of Media Arts. He did his Master in Business Administration in Mass Communication, Human Resources, and Advertising specialisation at the National Institute of Management. He studied B. Com, Accounts, and S. S. C at Padmashree Dr D. Y. Patil, Vidyapeeth, headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He has done a two-year, full-time Advanced Diploma in 3D Animation & Visual Effects at Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics. He studied scriptwriting at Pune University. He also studied the course in Film Making at Big Aims Animation Infotainment & Media School. 

He worked as an Autodesk Smoke Artist at Prime Focus, Mumbai, from March 2009 to October 2011. He worked here on many hit films like Dabangg, Tees Maar Khan, Kacha Nimbu, Yeh Saali Zindagi, Delhi Safari (an Oscar-nominated movie), Love You Mr Kalakar, No One Killed Jessica, Faltu, and Shaitan (worked as both a Senior Editor and Smoke Artist). He then worked at ZEE Institute Of Media & Arts, Mumbai, as a Zee Learn Assistant Manager Operations (Academics-Pan India & Senior Autodesk Smoke, Flame & Lustre Trainer) from October 2011. He was also the Post Production Head at ZIMA.

Here, he organised the Film Festival for Zee Network (ZIMA), Impressions- An event and film competition, and Zima Day- the annual function for Zee Network. He also worked at ARNS Media Private Limited as a Senior Smoke Artist. He worked on promos, TV series, ad films, IPOs, documentaries, and corporate films. He also worked at Image Devices Private Limited and Pixion Private Limited as a Smoke Editor in movies. 

He is technically proficient in Autodesk Smoke, Autodesk Flame, Autodesk Lustre, Davinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Premier Pro., Photoshop, Apple Shake, Nuke, Fusion, Autodesk Maya, Autodesk Max, and Z-Brush. He is known for his work in Karma Chakra (2019) as a director. He is also the founder of two leading production houses, Silver Frames Production and Aakruti Productions. Milind Rokade is the founder/director of Cinecraft Academy of Film and Television in Pune, Maharashtra, established in 2014. The academy provides education in filmmaking, direction, cinematography, photography, acting, modelling, theatre, and kid's acting/modelling.
