Leena Mohanty is an Odissi dancer. She was born and brought up in Bhubaneshwar, Odisha, India. Her father, Rabinarayana Mohanty, was a businessman. Her mother, Swarna Mohanty, was a poet. She started to train under a famous Odissi dancer, Deba Prasad Das. After his demise, she continued to train under Guru Durga Charan Ranbir. At the age of eleven, she acted in the movie Basanta Rasa, directed by Gurudas. She won various awards such as the
