Swaranalata Biswal, also known as Chunni Riya, was born in Nasirabad, Rajasthan, on 24 March 1985. She was famous for her character Damini in the Odia TV serial Sindura Ra Adhikara. Her native place in Odisha is Bhanjanagar, Ganjam district. Aside from studying fashion design, she has a postgraduate degree in psychology. During her journey, she was also a model for eight years. Despite her orthodox background, her industry journey was challenging and she joined the industry to support his cousin’s brother.
She worked on Odia albums and music videos. Her career spanned 20 years and she worked on more than 200 albums. After entering the TV industry in 2008, she never looked back until she achieved Damini. She had an inter-cast marriage in 2016 and has a son Srayanshu Rudra Nanda (Anshu). Taking every decision that does not affect her son is important to her as a proud mother. Punctuality is one of her most vital traits. Her reels have gained her a large following on Instagram.
