Darshana Ruwan Dissanayake is a music composer and director in the Sinhala Cinema. He is a Sri Lankan Musician, Musical Composer and Director. In 2007, he worked as a music composer in the film Thanapathilage Gedara. In 2012, he worked as a music director in the film Prathiroo. In 2013, Darshana Ruwan worked as a composer in the film Samanala Sandhawaniya. The Long Night (Me Tharam Digu Ai Raththriya) is a music video which is composed by Darshana Ruwan Dissanayake in 2013. In 2017, Darshana worked as a music director in the film Kaala. In 2018, Darshana was a playback singer in the film Tawme Iskole. In 2022, he worked as a composer in the film CineMa. In 2022, Darshana Ruwan Dissanayake was the music director of the drama film Ran Kolla.

Some of Darshana's songs includes Moon Light, Hodi Pothe Mul Akura, Mathir Aale, Nagitinna, Mahapolowa, etc. He has composed over 1500 songs between the year 2002-2023 and also, composed and directed music for 15 films in the Sinhala Industry. He created several operas and cantatas like Vasant Nidrava, Kadavara Yaga, and My Village.
