Yureni Noshika is a well-known actress and singer in Srilankan Cinema and television. She was born on 29 January 1984 in Sri Lanka. She studied law at Methodist College, Colombo. She began her career by winning the Miss Sri Lanka for Miss World for Miss World Contest. In 2006, she won the Models of the New Generation pageant and represented Srilanka in the Tourism World Contest.

Later, She did TV commercials for famous brands such as Coca-Cola and Nestle. She got offers for acting in Teledramas like Kindurangana, Sanda Sakki, Arora, Sihina Sindrella, Ayal, Pingaladanauwwa, the Hindi Television serial Kasam Se, and many more. In 2009, she entered the movie Industry with the film, Nino Live and acted in a lead role. She has also performed in films like Pravegaya, Rush, Night Rider, Gajaman and Teddy.
