Bhavna Balakrishnan is a television anchor who has hosted several TV shows. Born on 21st May, this Chennai-born girl started her career as an RJ aka Radio Jockey for the local station Chennai Live (104.8 FM). Beach Girls, a Raj TV reality show. Alongside Poornitha Kalyani, Bhavna presented the serial with various celebrities appearing on “Beach Girls” as special guests. With sun-kissed beaches as the backdrop, the hosts and guests have a candid chat with some unknown facts getting disclosed. Apart from the interviews, there were fun-filled games involving the artists as well.
Delhi Ganesh, Khushboo, Rajakumaran were some of the notable guests having appeared on “Beach Girls.” Bhavna could only host the first season before leaving the production. She got Globus Style Award under the category of “Stylish Anchor” in 2013. With Ma Ka Pa Anand and Priyanka Deshpande as her co-hosts, she continues to present Super Singer and “Super Singer Juniors.” She has also anchored the fifth season of Jodi No.1. She has also attended several city-based events as a chief guest. Bhavna is an MBA degree holder too. This 5 feet 9-inch tall personality has added dancing as one of her hobbies. She is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer. She is a part-time singer and she performed her version of 2014 FIFA World Cup anthem. She believes that it is a reward to work on kids’ show as she loves their innocence.
