KS Prasad

Veteran Malayalam mimicry artist and actor K S Prasad is noted for his works in the Malayalam film industry. He hails from Kochi, Kerala, and is an alumnus of Kalabhavan (the Cochin Kalabhavan), a center for learning performance arts in Kerala. Prasad began performing monologues while he was in high school, winning first place at school youth festivals. He later won accolades while at Maharajas College before enrolling at Kalabhavan. He also appears on stage/ television comedy shows regularly. He has now shifted to YouTube, producing content. His series Mr.&Mrs. Luca has debuted on his channel KS Prasad Entertainments. The sitcom revolves around a couple, their acquaintances, and their mishaps. Prasad says he sought to do something fresh with the series. They have used graphics and animation to show the characters’ thoughts, which is a new concept. Prasad is also one of the six members of Mimics Parade, a prominent mimicking troupe from the 1980s, which was founded by Father Abel of Cochin Kalabhavan. It played a crucial role in introducing various artists who became great performers and famous mimics.
