K S Adhimayan is an indian scriptwriter, dialogue writer and film director. He worked in the tamil, telugu, and hindi film industries. He worked with most of the top actors in tamil and hindi film industries. Initially, he worked under tamil film director k. Vijayan as an assistant director. Adhimayan officially started his career as a director with the tamil film thoorathu sondham (1992) which also was written by himself.
He later wrote the script and dialogues for the films pudhiya mugam (1993) and paasamalargal (1994). He later directed more tamil films thotta chinungi (1995), swarnamukhi (1998), priyasakhi (2005), thoondil (2008), and angel (2019). He made his debut into the telugu film industry with the film bobbili vamsham (1998), which was his first and only telugu film.
He made his debut in the hindi film industry with the film hum tumhare hain sanam (2002) which had shah rukh khan, salman khan, and madhuri dixit in the lead roles. He later directed another hindi film shaadi karke phas gaya yaar (2006).
